Financial Standard Messaging Suite (FSMS)

The Financial Standard Messaging Suite (FSMS) is a AI-powered integrated server and PC-based software suite used to create, validate and send ISO20022 compliant message formats. It can be operated by banks as well as industrial entreprises in order to automatically exchange messages.

Application Area

The suite covers two application areas: one is the implementation of new message formats at the bank and its customers as well as adpating this message to the bank specific needs. The second aspect is the daily business with message creation, validation and exchange between the bank and its customers.

Area 1: Implementation

The implementation starts at the bank where a new format based on the ISO20022 standard is adapted to the bank´s needs . Adaption here means selecting the message elements your require and defining rules on these elements. These rules can be easy or complex, standalone or dependent on pre-conditions. Also all rule sets can be validated and tested before being shipped to the customer. The customer will then receive the predefined message formats and rules along with own validating capabilities. and a data extraction engine. If required for specific elements additional coding in predefined spots may be necessary.

Area 2: Daily Operations

In daily operations the customer will create the message with our extraction program in his SAP system and validate it against the bank´s predefined rules. If the validation fails he will take corrective actions and only if all errors are corrected sent out the message. The bank will then receive the message, validate it again and then process it further.
